INTENDED USE
|
For the calibration of the
K-ASSAY ®
Direct HDL-Cholesterol assay.
FOR IN VITRO DIAGNOSTIC USE.

CALIBRATOR PREPARATION
|
|
1.
|
Using a Class A volumetric pipette, carefully add exactly 1 mL of distilled or deionized water into the vial of the
calibrator material.
|
|
|
2.
|
Swirl vial gently and allow to sit at room temp. for 5-10 min.
|
|
|
3.
|
Swirl contents until homogeneous. DO NOT VORTEX.
Remove the sample required for testing.
|
|
|
STORAGE AND HANDLING
|
The unreconstituted Direct HDL-Cholesterol calibrator is stable until the expiration
date stated on the vial label when stored at 2-8°C protected from light.
Once reconstituted, the calibrator material is stable for up to 5 days when stored at
2-8°C. DO NOT FREEZE the calibrator once reconstituted.

The following values are given as an example. The expected values for the
K-ASSAY ®
Direct HDL-Cholesterol Calibrator are continually being revised through ongoing quality assurance.
As a result, the expected values may change from lot to lot. Please refer to the
package insert for each lot for the exact calibrator values.
